Hopkins Flower Security is Tight. Laptops...not so much.

Incident Report# 02-02-09
Complainant/Employee advised that at some time between 6:59 a.m. on January 30 and 9:00 a.m. on February 4, an unknown person removed a Dell laptop (Model# D620) from Critical Care Room #3 in the AED. The case remains open and under active investigation

Theft Nelson Lobby

Guest Services Desk Incident Report# 02-03-09
Complainant/Employee advised that at 6:00 p.m. on February 6, an unidentified female removed a vase of flowers from the Guest Services Desk in the Nelson Lobby. The unknown female suspect was located, interviewed and escorted out of the hospital. The flowers were recovered.

It's stuff like this that makes me worry about "the government" mining our information... it only takes one idiot government worker to leave a laptop at Starbucks to leave us open to identity theft.

It's stuff like this that makes me not worry about the government getting any worthwhile information from me. The government has enough trouble delivering the mail. I find it hard to believe they'll get information on me that would be incredibly useful to the average laptop thief.
