I Don't Get The Outrage @ Kanye...

...but I still found this funny:

Simpsons reference FTW!

Don't get me wrong, he's a moron. Still, it's the freakin' VMAs. Hardly the most formal of ceremonies.

(Of course, let's not forget the fact that he was absolutely right.)

Finally, for you awesome people that have no idea what I'm talking about, here you go.

And it's not like a Nobel prize. It's the freakin' the VMAs. When was the last time a music award was relevent. Oh, and I went and listened to the nominees for the "Best New Artist" and each one made me sadder than the last.

The fans voted. Taylor won. The VMA show is for the fans that care enough to vote. So, even though Kanye might have an opinion that millions of people share, the ones that matter didn't share it, and

RE: his opinion. There's a right place and a wrong place to express it. He went the complete asshole route. If it was some unknown drunk, douchebag, security would've tackled him and tossed him.

The outrage is that against all odds, a 17 year old wins an award (that she might be one of the few people in the whole building that cares) and some jerk walks up on stage and effectively says "you don't deserve this."

Well I can't understand why either of them would of won, competing against the most talented: Stick Stickly Attack Attack!

Face it, the internet has killed the video music star, just like video killed the radio star!
